This is a favorite from my collection of weird bootleg Chinatown action figure sets.

The figures themselves are great, in particular the “Superman” with robot arms, the wrong emblem and a giant neck, the “Robin” complete with veiny demon wings and an enormous head that looks like it was painted with a ball point pen and my favorite, the battle damaged robot “Spider-man”. And also for some reason there’s anorexic Egyptian “Batman” and what seems to be a legitimate Mr. Incredible figure.

What really makes this set stand out is the packaging. The crazy mash-up of superhero logos and images (including a shot of George Clooney as Batman) is only made better by the strange wording of phrases like “SUPER FIGHT HERO WITH THE HULK MAN!!” and “ALL THE SUPER HEROES IS COME!” Awesome.
